| NTEN Chicago Conference 2002 |
|
The Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network will hold a regional conference in Chicago on October 31 and November 1, 2002. I have an annual event in my home on the evening of the first, or else I would be there. The San Francisco event was well done.

The entire contents of the book Networks and Netwars is available online. In addition to the obvious context of terrorism, it addresses issues such as environmental activism, democracy movements, and the role of networks in the WTO struggles in my home town of Seattle.

The Congress Online Project has posted an Update to their E-mail Overload In Congress research. Looks like U.S. elected representatives are getting a handle on things, with practices much like those used by Nonprofit Online News and other organizations that focus on email, including a well integreated mix of email and web forms for structured communication.
